Will has over a decade of experience at British Solar Renewables, working across business development, financing, power purchase agreements and mergers and acquisitions within the renewable energy sector. During this time, he has played an integral role in shaping and delivering BSR’s commercial and investment strategy, supporting the long‑term growth of the business through disciplined, investment‑grade transactions.
BSR currently manages an operational and construction portfolio of around 630 MW of solar and co‑located battery energy storage. Since ICG’s investment in 2022, Will has led the company’s M&A activity, delivering approximately 300 MW of acquired assets to strengthen and complement BSR’s organic development pipeline. He has also overseen the placement of contracted offtake arrangements, including PPAs and optimisation agreements, across the wider portfolio.
Will was closely involved in the successful completion of BSR’s £345 million senior debt facility, working alongside lenders, advisors and internal teams to support strong bankability and efficient execution. His work reflects BSR’s focus on building at scale, taking a long‑term view, and delivering reliable, clean power that supports national resilience.
