Ben Martin is a Policy Manager at the British Chambers of Commerce, specialising in energy, environmental, and digital policy. The BCC represents businesses of all sizes from all sectors of the economy through its network of 51 Chambers of Commerce in the UK. At the BCC, Ben’s work focuses on supporting businesses with the energy transition, in particular understanding incentives and barriers to sustainability, as well as addressing key challenges around energy costs, energy security, and the circular economy. Before joining the BCC, Ben worked as a policy researcher in the Houses of Parliament, providing briefings and correspondence support to MPs on environmental and defence policy.
